Larry has served Ellis Baptist Association for over 25 years. He began as the Missions Coordinator for the old Trinity Brazos Baptist Area (Ellis, Johnson, and Paluxy Associations) for the first ten years and in 1994 became Executive Director of Ellis Baptist Association. He is a graduate of LeTourneau University in Longview as well as Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth. He served First Baptist Church in Waxahachie as Minister of Missions/Evangelism during his seminary years. He is married to Yvette. They have three sons, three daughters-in-law as well as two grandsons and two granddaughters. Larry is a past president of the Texas Associational Directors of Missions Network and Chairman of the Church Missions Sending Fund of the Baptist General Convention of Texas. He has authored articles for Net Results magazine.
Richard serves part-time as church planting associate while helping with a church plant in Waxahachie. He started serving on the Leadership Team in 2007 followed as an associate in January 2012. Richard came to the association from Hillcrest Baptist Church, Cedar Hill were he had served as Associate Pastor of Education/Discipleship and Associate Pastor of Education/Administration since 2000. He has served churches in west Texas, Houston area and New Mexico. Richard's role is to help develop a “Simple Church Net” for house churches and small small churches developed from life circumstances. While his Sunday School, small group, administrative and financial experience are used by EBA churches. Richard and Terry have lived in Ellis County since 2000. All three of their adult children graduated from Midlothian.

Shannon and Kristi Hopkins met in high school at First Baptist Church Gordon, Texas. In 2000 Shannon and Kristi married. They have two children, Tyler, age 9, and Emma, age 6. For 10 years they served in youth ministry. Throughout this time they have participated in mission trips all over the world.
In April 2008 they went on a vision trip to Gracias, Honduras. It was on that trip they believe God began calling to serve on the mission field. After much prayer and seeking the guidance of their closest peers, colleagues, and family that they surrendered to the call.
In September 2010, the Hopkins formed 61 Isaiah Ministries and began raising support. They left December 28, 2010 to attend Language School in Costa Rica. In June 2011 they moved to Gracias, Lempira, Honduras.
Bob has been the Ellis Baptist Association treasurer since 1992, but he has been with the Leadership Team of the Association for more than 40 years. Bob is a retired Manager of Budgets and Accounts for TXU which thoroughly qualifies him to handle the money aspects involved with Ellis Baptist Association! Bob and his wife Betty have been married more than 50 years and have 2 grown sons and 5 grandchildren. Bob is a deacon, a Sunday School teacher and a Trustee at First Baptist Church, Waxahachie where he and Betty have been members for more than 50 years.
