Bert, Deatra, Armando, Aurora and Larry went back to San Isidro. When we arrived at the church building we were met by 9 youth who wanted prayer for their mid-term test in English and Psychical Education. Bert, our 5th grade teacher, prayed for them and tutored them for a few minutes.
The team then began visitation. At the first house 4 indicated they needed to be baptized and we prayed for them. At the next house we met a very strong Catholic lady who is now a new believer.
As we continued our visits we went to the home of a member of the San Isidro church and prayed for a very elderly lady and her mentally challenged son. At the next house we went to discuss baptism and two young brothers indicated they would be baptized. Another brother, who was listening, indicated he wanted to be baptized. Armando had the opportunity to lead him to the Lord. The plans call for a river baptism tomorrow afternoon. This will be an exciting worship time for the San Isidro church.
We returned as they were concluding the children's Bible study. They had 38 children present with four teachers. At the church service an hour later there were about 60 in attendance with no major decisions.
Bruce and Ariel went out to La Acacias for an evening service. Sheila stayed at the hotel a little sick. They had wonderful worship service with the 23 present. It a great time for Bruce and Ariel to talk.
Eddie, Rebecca and Marco went to Las Flores. They visited in some homes. At the service, they had wonderful worship and Eddie preached. One man accepted Christ. The pastor, Nelson Flores, had been witnessing to him for some time.
Victor, Juanita, George and Shannon went to San Manuel. They spent two hours counseling with pastor and explaining the children's material. This was a very well spent time. There was a Bible study for children and adult led by the members. At the worship service, one lady accepted Christ. She had never visited any church. 8 children came forward to accept Christ.

It seems that every time I come to Honduras, I have a least one adventure. Well, today is the day. The morning began with a great worship service at the hotel. There were 15 teachers at two English speaking schools who joined us for worship. Shannon has been working helping them with a house church each week. These teachers are new college graduates who are recruited for one year from Christian school in the states. Shannon, Kristy, Tyler and Emma joined us for worship as did the Murillo's (Armando, Aurora and Ariel).
Some of the teachers led us in music worship and then we had a big sharing time. God is working in the lives of our team along with the teacher's. It was a great time. Bruce Zimmerman delivered a sermon out of Micah.
There was no nap in the afternoon all of us went to the river for a baptism service. Bert assisted Pastor Nicolaus from the San Isidro church in baptizing 8 in the river.
Bert, Deatra, Armando, Aurora and Larry returned to the San Isidro church. There the ladies of the church had prepared a meal for us. When we got to the church the truck had a flat tire and then found out we had a flat spare tire. Shannon came from the group meeting at the San Manuel church and we put on his spare tire to get us back to Gracias.
We were served a delicious meal. They started a service, but we needed to get back to Gracias to get ready to leave especially with the flat tire.
The wheel has 6 lug nuts and one had already broken off and I broke another in changing the tire so there were only 4 of 6 lug nuts on the tire. On the way back, the tire came off. We were finally down to 2 lug nuts. We went really slow and got the car to the house were we have a house church. They would watch over the car. An Assembly of God pastor had stopped to help us and he ran out of gas and had a low tire. So we took him into Gracias with us. We left everyone else at the hotel and then Shannon and I took him to get gas and blow up his tire. We returned to his truck and finally we got back to the hotel about 8:30 PM. We were to leave for the airport at 5:30 AM. Armando arranged for a man to drive part of our team into the airport.

Everyone was up early as we packed up the trucks. We left about 6 AM. Everything went smooth, even dealing with the rental car company although it did take quite a bit of time. We all arrived back in Waxahachie safely.
The trip was a huge success. There were 23 professions of faith, 7 people reconciled with God and 1 man indicated he was called to start a church in a village where there is no work. The Bible study team did an excellent job in preparing leaders. The pastor's confirmed this to us on several occasions.
