Leadership Team Minutes
May 9, 2011
Present: Larry Johnson, Debbie Crady, Bob Saylors, Todd Gray, Bruce Smilie, Craig Lloyd, Frank Sanchez,Cory Mullins, Richard Cody and Marie Dyess

Craig Lloyd opened the meeting with prayer. Prayer needs were for Paul Eckeberger seeking employment with camp ministries, disasters in many areas and specifically for the disaster relief team as they are currently working in Alabama, Spiritual Awakening team continues to pray for God’s movement in Ellis County and continue to pray for our pastorless churches.
Richard Cody volunteered to be our Process Check Point person for the meeting.
The minutes from the previous leadership team meeting were read and approved. The financial report was given by Bob Saylors and approved. We discussed the financial budget for the Radio Station.
Team Reports included Church Equipping Team is planning training for the Fall which would be mentoring one on one training. They will focus on disciplining individuals. Plans are underway to expand the February training seminar. CWJC is having graduation this week. They raised over $11,000 from the Annual Fund Raiser Banquet after all funds were received. Plans are underway to begin CMJC in the fall of 2011. The radio station reported many personal stories from individuals whose lives have been touched by the radio ministry. They are receiving calls daily regarding healings. Todd Gray reported that the Spiritual Awakening Team had their second meeting at noon in the Association office. They are praying for direction from the Lord on how to proceed. Marie Dyess reported on activities of the Women’s Missions and Ministry Team. Upcoming retreat is scheduled for August 13, 2011. ESL training was held and they had 10 individuals come for training. Pastor Craig Lloyd reported that the Pastor’s fellowship met for the first time and have plans to meet each month beginning in August.
Old Business: Annual Celebration to be held on Monday, October 17, 2011 at the Cowboy Church of Ellis County (after approval is received). We will have lunch, short business meeting and show case the ministries of EBA.
New Business: None
Director’s Report: Cash flow of the Association is becoming a real concern. Funds are not coming in to adequately meet the budget needs. Leadership Team is going to pray and look at ways to raise funds at the next regularly scheduled meeting. World Hunger offering funds were received totalling $7,000 for 2012. AT&T is requesting an easement on association property. Two trips to Honduras have been announced. August and November are the months groups will be going.
Richard indicated that we stayed on track.
Our next meeting will be Monday, June 13, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. in the Association Offices.
